This agreement seeks to implement the Pretoria I Agreement of 6 of April 2005. The agreement provides a timetable for implementation of certain provisions: disarmament and dismantling of the militia to be completed by 20 August 2005; global security plan to be formulated by 7 July 2005; national laws to be amended by the National Assembly by 15 July 2005; the Independent Election Commission to be operational 31 July 2005; presidential elections to be held by October 2005.

Protocol between India and China on Modalities for the Implementation of Confidence-Building Measures in the Military Field Along the Line of actual Control in the India-China Border Areas

This agreement seeks to implement previous agreements on the Maintenance of Peace and Tranquillity along the Line of Actual Control in the India-China Border Areas of 7 September 1993 and on Confidence Building Measures in the Military Field along the Line of Actual Control in the India-China Border Areas of 29 November 1996. The parties agreed on modalities to implement the confidence building measures including through proceedures for exchange of information regarding troop movements and the conduct of bi-annual meetings on border issues.

This agreement provides provisions to further implement the Linas-Marcoussis Agreement, Accra II and Accra III Agreements. It declares the end of the country's state of war and address issues such as Disarmament, Demobilization and Reintegration (DDR), the creation of a national police the return of New Forces Ministers to government and the reorganization of the Independent Electoral Commission.
