Joint Declaration of the Defence and Security Forces of Côte d'Ivoire and the Armed Forces of the Forces Nouvelles

This agreement constitutes an 'End of the War' declaration, whereby the forces of the parties commit themselves to a path of dialogue and the subservience of the military to the Government. They also commit themselves to the implementation of the Linas-Marcousis Agreement of 23 January 2003, the Accra II Agreement of 7 March 2003 and to undertake a program of Demobilization, Disarmament and Reintegration (DDR) and to create one national army.
