Decision on the High Level Committee Djibouti Agreement

The Transitional Electoral Government and the Alliance for the Re-liberalisation of Somalia commit to the goal of achieving sustainable peace consulting with the Workshop on Justice and Reconciliation. In addition, they agree to establish a Commission of Inquiry and an international court to address violations of human rights. The agreement addresses the core principles for cooperation in order to establish Unity Government and Inclusive Parliament. Principles include impunity and accountability. The parties agree on the seven proposals related to inclusiveness of the Parliament as among others: enlargement of the Parliament, inclusion of civil society, election of new Leadership, extension of the Transitional Period. Parties express their concern over the issue of piracy as well.
