Agreement between the Government of Sudan, the Sudan Liberation Movement (SLM), and the Justice and Equality Movement (JEM)

The purpose of the agreement is to establish a joint preparatory commission composed of three representatives of each of the parties to (i) determine the items to be on the agenda of general conference of all representatives of Darfur to discuss the political, economic and social situation of the Darfur (Conference); (ii) determine the participation of the Conference; (iii) determine the date and venue of the Conference; (iv) discuss and agree on the security measures related to the organization of the Conference with the assistance of the mediation; and (v) ensure the follow-up of the implementation of the agreement.
